Targeted relief and faster healing through professional rehabilitation massage

Why Is Post-Injury Massage So Important?

Whether you're a professional athlete or simply recovering from an accidental injury, your muscles, joints, and ligaments need proper rehabilitation. Massage therapy plays a key role in speeding up recovery by:
  • Improving blood circulation
  • Reducing inflammation
  • Alleviating muscle tension
  • Supporting proper tissue regeneration

At SymmetryHL, we understand the anatomy, biomechanics, and sensitivity of injured areas. That's why all our recovery massage sessions are tailored to your specific injury and stage of healing.

Massage After Injury: Key Features

Every injury is unique, and so is every rehabilitation plan. Massage after trauma is always performed in stages, beginning with gentle techniques and progressing based on your body's response.

 Step-by-step process:

  • Initial Phase (Days/Weeks After Injury)

Gentle stroking and gliding (effleurage) techniques for 5–10 minutes to prepare the tissue and reduce swelling or pain.

  • Gradual Introduction of Pressure

Based on your comfort and recovery progress, we slowly introduce friction, kneading, and compressiontechniques.

  • Advanced Techniques (If Needed)

When healing allows, we incorporate more dynamic techniques to restore full mobility and prevent scar tissue formation.

What Types of Injuries Can Be Treated?

Our massage therapists work with a wide range of post-traumatic conditions, including:

  • Knee & ankle injuries

Supported with soft cushions and joint fixation during the session. Focus on mobility, swelling reduction, and muscle balance.

  • Shoulder joint injuries

Usually treated twice a week, starting with gentle motion and progressing to muscle engagement. Each session lasts from 10 minutes depending on tolerance.

  • Muscle strains & inflammation

Treated with care and heat-assisted relaxation to allow gentle massage that relieves spasms and pain.

  • Joint dislocation recovery

Only after a joint is medically repositioned and cleared for massage, our therapists proceed with tissue reconditioning and lymphatic stimulation.

When to Book Your First Recovery Session?

Book your first session once acute inflammation or swelling has subsided and your doctor or physiotherapist confirms massage is safe.

At SymmetryHL, we provide:

  • Certified sports rehabilitation massage

  • 2-phase approach: preparation + deep work

  • Evening appointments for your convenience

  • Individual consultation before starting a course

“Massage is not just about comfort — it’s a core element of healing and restoring function after trauma.”
